Renewable

Hydropower- harnessing power from water

Geothermal energy- scientists make a hole in the earth for geothermal energy 

biomas-burning blants creates energy, you kill plants

 

Nonrenewable

Coal-makes a fire, pollutes 

oil- makes machenery work, pollution

natural gas- machenery work, pollution 

nuclear power-nuclear power plant, pollution

 

If I had 1 billion dollars, I would invest it in wind power. For the reasons because I, myself, am Dutch, and you will find when you visit the Netherlands nearly everywhere (in the country side) there are windmills or windturbines. Windturbines used to be found mainly by the water. There is also such a thing as windpumps, they are used to pump water. The reason I would invest my money on wind power is because it hardly does harm to our planet and it generates energy, pumps water, or helps agricultural needs. They don't take much space.
