Do you think salinity is an important abiotic factor for bull sharks? Why or why not?

-Not necessarily, if a bull shark can live in a river than salt is one of its least concerns, less the bull shark is endangered because of salt loss.

Do you think temperature is an important abiotic factor for bull sharks? Why or why not?

-I do, a bull shark may not survive if the temperature is too hot or too cold.

Do you think dissolved oxygen content is an important abiotic factor for bull sharks? Why or why not?

-Yes, because the more dissolved oxygen the more sharks.

Activity 3

Why do you think baby bull sharks live in the river and not in the ocean like other sharks do?

-Baby bull sharks might not need as much salt as other sharks. Also baby bull charks might need more dissolved oxygen.

Are most bull sharks found where they can get the most food? Are fish an important biotic factor for bull sharks? Explain your answers.

-No there is hardly any bull sarks where there are fish, it might be because of the salt content. Fish are important for bull sharks.

Activity 5

Look at your far graph in Activity 4 to see where the bull sharks were caught at these same three sites.

Do you think predators are an important biotic factor for bull sharks? Explain your answer.

-Yes it is an important biotic factor because if there are no preditors than overpopulation will occur.

Why do you think some bull sharks swim down to the mouth of the river?

-For Food
